The Center’s Work

Working with strategic configurations of non-profit, government, and for-profit partners, and utilizing a braintrust of talent in the technology and media sectors, the Center for Creative Sustainability cultivates and implements groundbreaking creative collaborations, projects, initiatives, and legislation towards creative sustainability. It’s most recent project, which debuted on Earth Day 2020, is the launch of Do1Act.org, a collaboration with municipal agencies, non-profits, and media agencies (including the San Francisco Department of Parks & Recreation, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Recology, the Office of Senator Scott Wiener, Fern Design, and O+A Studio). Do1Act.org provides a comprehensive online information platform and catalyst (using gamification psychology) for the public to learn how changes in consumer and individual behavior are critical in addressing the climate crisis.
